Whale Watching 2022

Whale jumping in the water

There have already been humpback whale sightings on the Australian east coast, and Noosa Oceanrider will officially launch its whale watching season on June 25, when sightings will be more reliable. Until then, fingers crossed, a whale sighting might be a bonus on the Dolphin Safari.

We are proud to announce that we will again be working with Humpbacks & Highrises, hosting their volunteers to collect invaluable data on the humpbacks.

One of Noosa’s most breathtaking experiences, there is nothing more magical than watching these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. Noosa’s aquatic backyard plays host to the humpback whales during their annual migration every winter where you can watch them frolic & play whilst taking in stunning natural cliff formations, lush emerald forests, pristine little coves and sweeping beaches.
