Whale watching happens during the humpback whale migration period, which

Yes, during peak season we can book out and places are limited. And in
off-season, if we do not have any bookings for whale watching or dolphin
cruises, we do not prepare the boat.
Normal clothing is fine. Shoes are fine too but we are ok with barefoot
if you prefer. We provide rain jackets if necessary. For whale watching
in the cooler months the sea breeze can be a little chilly and a light,
a warm top is recommended just in case.
It depends on the sea conditions, however we have jackets if necessary.
It is not recommended for pregnant women even in the first trimester.

To participate in any of our whale watching, dolphin cruises, or ocean
adventure tours, you must be able to get in and out of the boat and your
leg over the saddle-style seat and you must also be able to absorb the
impact endured over waves. The tour is not recommended for people with
back & spinal injuries. If any doubt, speak to Oceanrider directly.

The minimum age is decided by our insurance company. It is because
generally, a child below these ages is not tall enough to be secure in
the saddle-style seats. Generally, children below these ages do not
enjoy the tours anyway.
No, just as long as you can fit into a lifejacket and seat.
It is unlikely however you are prone to seasickness we recommend you
take a preventative before your tour. If you do suffer seasickness on
the tour we have vomit bags for your use.
Yes, the Oceanrider speedboat is a Gemini RIB, the same one used by many of the
world’s rescue, military, and patrol organisations as well as ocean
adventure tour companies worldwide. It is designed to handle our
conditions with comfort and safety.
Yes, everyone is required to sign a waiver and a guardian must sign for anyone 15 years and below.
Yes, but a guardian must be present at check-in and is also required to sign their waiver.
